Invisalign

Invisalign at Cayon Dental

Invisalign is a set of specially crafted clear plastic aligners, which are intended to move your teeth into the best possible position. About two times every month, the patient changes to another arrangement of aligner plate, repeating this until their teeth are in the right position. Invisalign is designed to result in similar benefit as from conventional braces however the aligner plate is less noticeable, offering a stylish aesthetic benefit. The aligners are removed for eating, brushing and flossing, and may not take as long to accomplish great outcomes as brace during orthodontic treatment.

How does Invisalign Work?

Invisalign is the most advanced system for aligning teeth. It is based on a series of transparent aligners that are customized for each patient. First, we made a digital model of the patient’s mouth. Then we use a computer simulation software to plan all the stages of the treatment and finally we order the manufacture of the aligners.

The aligners are unique for each patient, they are made using a state-of-the-art printing process with a transparent thermoplastic material for medical use which is very resistant, developed by Invisalign exclusively for this system.
Each set of aligners has a “programmed” small movement. Little by little, they move the teeth towards the position planned by the specialist. Each set of aligners is used for about two weeks.

The duration and the price of the treatment depend on the complexity of the case, the duration is usually between three months and two years. In addition, we remind you that both the first visit and the diagnosis are completely free and without obligation. Do not hesitate to ask for an appointment to solve any kind of doubt, we will be happy to help you.

We offer FREE Evaluations for Implants, Veneers and Orthodontics.

These are some of the most common cases that can be treated with Invisalign

Crowded Teeth:

When there is not enough space in the jaw so that all the teeth fit normally, the crowding of the teeth occurs.

Gap Teeth:

The opposite occurs when there is space in the jaw, leaving the teeth too far apart.

Crossbite:

Sometimes, the lower jaw is not properly aligned with the lower one, it may be some upper teeth bite on the inside of the lower teeth and also the opposite. This is what is known as a crossbite

Overbite:

Another common problem is overbite, it is called this way in cases where the upper teeth overlap excessively over the lower ones.

Underbite:

The mandibular protrusion occurs when the lower teeth protrude in front of the upper front teeth. Normally, it is caused by an insufficient growth of the upper jaw, an exclusive development of the lower jaw or both.
