
Alicia Cayon, DMD
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Alicia Cayon has an impressive history in Dental Medicine.
Her professional approach is that every patient she treats receives the best dental care available, in a comfortable setting, in a compassionate manner, with high levels of professionalism and honesty.
She graduated at the top of her class from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Villaclara, Cuba, in 1985. She was an Assistant Professor from 1985 to 1991 and graduated as Orthodontist in 1993 at the same dental school.
In 1995 she received her degree from the Romulo Gallegos University in Venezuela, where she practiced as a General Dentist and Orthodontist until 2002.
She moved to Miami and started as an Orthodontics Assistant, then she got her Dental Hygienist license in which she practiced for 7 years. She earned her degree as Doctor in Dental Medicine after attending Nova Southeastern University from 2011 to 2014.
Dr. Cayon is dedicated to her profession and has always made it her priority to actively update her knowledge base and practice in order to stay on the front edge of technology and innovation in dentistry. Dr. Cayon is an authorized Invisalign provider and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the International Dental Implants Association and the Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. All of which are highly distinguished organizations in the field of dentistry and are a testament to the doctors commitment to her patients.

Dr. Ana Gonzalez Cayon, Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Ana, as her patients call her, grew up in Miami. After completing her undergraduate degree with honors at Florida International University, she relocated to New Jersey to pursue her dental degree, general practice residency and pediatric dentistry training. At the prestigious Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, she earned her doctor of dental medicine degree, certificate in pediatric dentistry, and masters in dental sciences.
Dr. Gonzalez Cayon also served as chief resident during her pediatric dentistry training, as well as secretary and president of the Hispanic Student Dental Association at Rutgers and held multiple leadership roles in honors and professional organizations throughout college. She received multiple awards for her outstanding leadership services. Her commitment to service drove her to participate in dental mission trips to underserved communities in Dominican Republic and Haiti, as well as, providing proper dental hygiene education to underserved children in south Florida and Newark, NJ. Dr. Ana is currently on staff at Joe DeMaggio Children’s Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, and the Palms West Hospital.
When she is not at the office, Dr. Ana enjoys family time with her daughter, husband and dog. Also traveling, trying new cuisines and catching up on her favorite Netflix originals. Dr. Ana is happy to return to her hometown to provide excellent care to the children and adolescents in her community!

Dr. Alejandro Pereda, Endodontist
Dr. Pereda is a native of South Florida, having attended Florida International University. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Pereda moved to New Jersey, where he graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine’s DMD program and furthered his education by completing their 2-year post-graduate residency in Endodontics. Currently, he is Board Eligible and is on track to receive Diplomate status from the American Board of Endodontics.
After practicing in private practice in New Jersey, Dr. Pereda and his wife decided to relocate back home to sunny South Florida. Dr. Pereda joined Cayon Dental Group to offer his expertise in microscopic endodontics, microsurgery, regenerative therapy, and three-dimensional digital radiography (CBCT) to provide modern root canal therapy to his patients. Dr. Pereda has been engaged in multiple research projects such as “Incidence of Middle Mesial Canals,” a morphology study published in the Journal of Endodontics, using CBCT technology and state of the art microscopes.
During his years in dental school, he participated in various dental missions providing dental services to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti and the Navajo Native American tribe in collaboration with Indian Health Services. Dr. Pereda is a talented, compassionate, and sensitive provider, making his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Outside the office, Dr. Pereda enjoys spending time with his wife, Ana, baby girl, Alice, and dog, Snoopy. He also enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, basketball, and skiing.

Dr. Isis C. Sosa
Dr. Sosa is a board certified Periodontist with licenses in New York and Florida. Dr. Sosa has certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Dr. Sosa is a current member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.

Dr. German Fernandez
A dedicated Dentist and Oromaxillofacial Surgeon with over twenty-five years’ experience. Graduated from Dental School in Santa Clara, Cuba in 1991. Earned the degree of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon from the Central Regional Hospital in Santa Clara, 1999. Moved to the United States in 2004. Attended a Foreign Dentist Training Program in Florida and received the Dental Hygienist License. Dr. Fernandez later obtained the Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2011.

Dr. Francisco Rodrigues
Dr. Rodriquez attended Nova Southeastern University’s three-year International Dentist Program to earn a dental degree for a second time after having completed his first dental degree and participated in an Oral Maxillofacial residency program at the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, Cuba. He then completed a full-time Fellowship in the Prosthodontics and Periodontics Programs at Nova Southeastern University and was awarded a Certificate of Implantology Fellowship.
